Construction joint injection via injection hose

2 Injection Resin
KOSTER IN 5

Construction joints, especially wall/floor junctions, below ground level always need particular attention when it comes to waterproofing. Defects in this area are not uncommon. Before pouring the concrete for the rising wall, the injection hose is installed in the construction joint. Injection hoses are perforated or slotted. After the concrete has cured, an elastically curing resin is pressure injected into the injection hose. The joint is now permanently elastically sealed and waterproofed.

For application via injection hose, KOSTER KB-Pur IN 5 is the product of choice. It has a low viscosity and a long pot life. These two aspects are very important for the application so the product has enough time to enter the small and fine voids and does not start to react during the injection.

Always adhere to the specifications in the respective Technical Guidelines.
