KOSTER Polysil® TG 500 is a thin film forming polymer/silicate-based liquid. On salt-containing or damp substrates, it reduces the pore volume and reduces the development of salt efflorescence. It also increases the chemical and mechanical bond strength of cementitious building materials. Depending on the substrate, the product penetrates up to a depth of ¾”.
KOSTER Polysil® TG 500 has strengthening and hydrophobing properties. The material is compatible with mortars, screeds, cement-based slurries as well as concrete substrates.
